Why use Nevor?

What Nevor changes for your home projects, whether you tinker on weekends or do it for a living.

What is Nevor actually for?

Nevor lets you share everything to do with the home. Whether you're looking for inspiration to decorate a bedroom, planning to build a deck or fitting a kitchen, Nevor invites you to share what you've made with fellow enthusiasts, and to follow what they're up to.

You track your projects from start to finish, with your before / during / after photos and your key steps. You pick up ideas and techniques from other DIYers, and you find the right tradespeople when you need them. Deck, painting, storage, garden, small renovations: whatever you do around the house belongs here. A home is something you live together.

Why post my projects on Nevor instead of keeping them on my phone?

On your phone, your project photos end up buried and forgotten. On Nevor, they tell a story: people can see where you started, what you did, and the result.

If you're a homeowner, it's your chance to show what you've pulled off. At Nevor we know how much time it takes: a personal project is a bit of yourself that you put into it, and there's plenty to be proud of. We enjoy seeing what others do just as much as showing off our own work, and on Nevor you know that urge is shared.

If you're a tradesperson or a professional, it's a simple, effective and natural way to showcase your craft to potential clients. The people you'll reach on Nevor aren't there by chance: they care about the home and about craftsmanship, which makes them an already-qualified audience.

Why not just post on Facebook or Instagram?

On general-purpose networks, your project photos get lost in a feed that mixes everything together, and they usually only speak to your close circle. On Nevor, they reach people who genuinely care about the home and DIY. The site is built to tell a project's story over time, with the steps and the before/after, not for a one-off post that vanishes from the feed after 24 hours.

Does Nevor help me track my project's progress?

If you work as a team, as a tradesperson or a company, Nevor gives you project-tracking tools to see progress day by day, shared with the whole crew.

If you're doing it on your own, the appeal is different: it's a chance to step back and look at what you're doing, week after week, and to share your progress with those close to you as the weekends go by.

How do I get advice and help?

You can ask your question in the feed, or straight under a project, your own to gather feedback, or someone else's to understand how they went about it. Other members and tradespeople can reply. It's also the right place to share a tip or something you've learned along the way.

How do I find inspiration for my projects?

Browse other DIYers' projects to pick up ideas, techniques and material pairings before you get started. You can easily find projects similar to yours by type, as well as work done near where you live.

How does AI help me?

AI gives you a hand with the writing: based on what you tell it, it helps you describe a project or a step when the words won't come. It stays a simple aid: you keep control, you review and edit everything it suggests, and nothing is published in your place. More kinds of help will arrive over time.

Can I use Nevor on mobile, on site?

Yes. Nevor is built for the field: snap a photo, jot a quick note, post an update in seconds, one hand still on the tool. You show where you're at in the moment, without waiting until you're back home.

I'm a tradesperson or a pro: what does Nevor bring me?

Your work becomes a living showcase: real projects, in photos, seen by homeowners looking for ideas and for trustworthy people near them. You gain local visibility without building a website again, simply by showing your work.

I work as a team (tradesperson, company): is Nevor a good fit?

Yes, at every scale. For a project among friends or family, you can tag the people who lent you a hand on it: their contribution shows up, and the project becomes a shared achievement rather than a one-man show. It works just as well for a DIY weekend with a few people as for a project run alongside other independent tradespeople.

For companies, Nevor offers tools dedicated to team management: several members follow the same professional project and share progress in real time, from the first swing of the pickaxe right through to handover.

Frequently asked questions

How do I publish my first project?

Click “New project” from your dashboard. You can start with just a title, add a photo and publish later. Nothing is locked, you can edit anything anytime.

Who can see my projects?

You choose visibility per project: everyone, your followers, or only you. A project stays a draft until you publish it.

Can I edit or delete a published project?

Yes. You can edit the information, add or remove photos, adjust a step, move the project back to draft, or delete it entirely from its edit page.

How do I ask a question or get advice?

The simplest path today: use a project’s comments. Drop your question under someone else’s project (or under your own to gather feedback), other users and tradespeople can reply. It’s also the right place to share a tip or an experience.

Are my photos and data safe?

Your data is hosted in the European Union and encrypted. You own your content. You can export or delete your account anytime from your preferences.

How do I report inappropriate content or behaviour?

Every project, comment or profile has a “Report” action. Our team reviews each report. You can also contact us directly from this page if you want to share more context.

How do I delete my account?

From your preferences, open the security section and start the deletion. Your public projects and personal data are removed. If you cannot, write to us and we will handle it.

Is Nevor free?

Yes, for tracking, publishing and discovering projects. A paid plan gives you more visibility: more photos, a better showcase of your work and your projects highlighted. You can use Nevor without ever paying.

Why are there limits on Nevor?

Nevor is a young network run by a small team. Our limits aren't there to hold you back: they keep the service fast, reliable and open to everyone. You'll find the details of each limit below.

Why are there limits on projects?

By setting some constraints, we favour quality over quantity. On a worksite you can quickly pile up blurry or rushed photos. Reasonable quotas encourage you to make a small but careful selection, which showcases your projects better and gives more value to those reading you.

Why is there a limit on the number of photos?

Storing and serving images has a real cost: hosting, bandwidth, processing. The free quota covers a worksite generously and invites you to pick your best photos, which showcases your work better. The paid plan funds the rest and unlocks high resolution.

Why can't I add videos?

A good video takes time: filming on site, then editing and scripting in post-production. We wanted Nevor to be usable with what you already have in your pocket, your photos, without creating new content. That keeps it simple to pick up and puts everyone on equal footing. Your feedback matters: if there's strong demand, we'll consider adding video, perhaps when our mobile app launches.

Why limit to 10 steps per project?

A worksite tells its story well in a few clear steps. If your project is longer, split it into several distinct projects: it's more useful for those who follow you, and it makes your projects easier to discover.

Is AI available on the free plan?

Each AI suggestion has a per-call cost. The free plan lets you try the feature with 5 suggestions per month. For heavier use, our paid plans offer many more.

From €4.99/month incl. tax, see our plans

Why cap follows at 250 people?

Capping follows prevents mass-following “just to get noticed” and keeps the feed healthy for everyone.

These limits evolve with us. Going premium also means supporting an independent, ad-free network.
