Frequently asked questions

How do I publish my first project?

Click “New project” from your dashboard. You can start with just a title, add a photo and publish later. Nothing is locked, you can edit anything anytime.

Who can see my projects?

You choose visibility per project: everyone, your followers, or only you. A project stays a draft until you publish it.

Can I edit or delete a published project?

Yes. You can edit the information, add or remove photos, adjust a step, move the project back to draft, or delete it entirely from its edit page.

How do I ask a question or get advice?

The simplest path today: use a project’s comments. Drop your question under someone else’s project (or under your own to gather feedback), other users and tradespeople can reply. It’s also the right place to share a tip or an experience.

Are my photos and data safe?

Your data is hosted in the European Union and encrypted. You own your content. You can export or delete your account anytime from your preferences.

How do I report inappropriate content or behaviour?

Every project, comment or profile has a “Report” action. Our team reviews each report. You can also contact us directly from this page if you want to share more context.

How do I delete my account?

From your preferences, open the security section and start the deletion. Your public projects and personal data are removed. If you cannot, write to us and we will handle it.

Is Nevor free?

Yes, for tracking, publishing and discovering projects. A paid plan gives you more visibility: more photos, a better showcase of your work and your projects highlighted. You can use Nevor without ever paying.

Why are there limits on Nevor?

Nevor is a young network run by a small team. Our limits aren't there to hold you back: they keep the service fast, reliable and open to everyone. You'll find the details of each limit below.

Why are there limits on projects?

By setting some constraints, we favour quality over quantity. On a worksite you can quickly pile up blurry or rushed photos. Reasonable quotas encourage you to make a small but careful selection, which showcases your projects better and gives more value to those reading you.

Why is there a limit on the number of photos?

Storing and serving images has a real cost: hosting, bandwidth, processing. The free quota covers a worksite generously and invites you to pick your best photos, which showcases your work better. The paid plan funds the rest and unlocks high resolution.

Why can't I add videos?

A good video takes time: filming on site, then editing and scripting in post-production. We wanted Nevor to be usable with what you already have in your pocket, your photos, without creating new content. That keeps it simple to pick up and puts everyone on equal footing. Your feedback matters: if there's strong demand, we'll consider adding video, perhaps when our mobile app launches.

Why limit to 3 projects in progress at a time?

A finished project inspires and helps far more than a pile of paused worksites. We encourage you to finish before you start. This limit stays comfortable for most individuals and helps us keep running costs under control.

Why limit to 24 projects per year?

Two projects a month on average is already a lot for an individual, and it keeps your profile easy to read.

Why limit to 10 steps per project?

A worksite tells its story well in a few clear steps. If your project is longer, split it into several distinct projects: it's more useful for those who follow you, and it makes your projects easier to discover.

Is AI available on the free plan?

Each AI suggestion has a per-call cost. The free plan lets you try the feature with a few uses per day. For heavier use, our paid plans are available.

Why cap follows at 250 people?

Capping follows prevents mass-following “just to get noticed” and keeps the feed healthy for everyone.

These limits evolve with us. Going premium also means supporting an independent, ad-free network.
